Well-behaved pets are a joy to be around and a pleasure to own. The majority of well-behaved dogs are the ones who have been through obedience training. As a responsible dog-owner it is up to you to ensure that your dog is properly trained in obedience. An untrained puppy is irritating to be with and causes many problems for his or her owners.

Your dog needs to see you as the “alpha dog” or the leader of the pack. That means that your word is respected and with that the bond between you as master and your dog will be bolstered. By doing this you will divert many potential problems and both you and your dog will be happier.

Keeping your dog safe is very simple when he is properly trained in obedience. If your dog reacts immediately to your commands you are able to keep him safe in crowds, large traffic areas and more. Your pet will come back to you whenever you call if he happens to leave the yard also. That can save you much time and aggravation.

A well-behaved and appropriately trained dog is a pleasure to own. You will be able to take your dog anywhere and not risk awkwardness or fear for the safety of your dog or of other people. With proper dog obedience training your dog will exhibit proper behavior in a crowd, good manners around guests and he will be non-threatening to other pets and people and reliable around children.

Invest the the time, the energy and the money to properly train your dog it will serve you well for the entire time you own your dog. Both of you will be much happier, healthier and more at ease because of it.
